Premium connections

Gas tight coupled and threaded  connection for OCTG pipes Ukrainian Premium Joint (UPJ) is meant for installation and exploitation of oil and gas wells which are operated in tough geological environment.
Tubing UPJ connection has successfully completed qualification trials in accordance with specification 13679:2002 “Petroleum and natural gas industries – procedures for testing casing and tubing connections” connection application level 2 (CAL 2).
Main technical parameters
Thread Profile  - resistant trapeziform
For tubing:

• dia 2 3/8” - 2 7/8” – 8 threads per inch (3,175 mm)

Tread height - 1,016 mm;

•  dia 3 1/2” - 4 1/2” – 6 threads per inch (4,233 mm)

Tread height - 1,016 mm.
For casing

• dia 5” - 13 3/8” - 5 threads per inch (5,08 mm)

Thread height – 1,57 mm.  
Thread taper – 6,25%
Main parameter of thread is analogous to thread “Buttress”
