This mill produces pipe for the oil and gas industry, special application pipe for machinery and power generation, as well as pipe for wider industrial applications. In 2022 site’s production totaled 211 kt.

Tube rolling shop with mandrel mill

Product range:
  • For oil and gas industry: casing, tubing, drilling and exploration pipe from 42 to 114,3 mm with wall thickness from 3,5 to 11 mm, including cold - and corrosion- resistant pipe;
  • For machinery and power generation: special application pipe and boiler pipe from 32 to 114,3 mm with wall thickness from 2,5 to 14 mm, including boiler pipe up to 24 m in length;
  • For other industries: pipe for industrial application from 32 to 114,3 mm with wall thickness from 2,5 to 14 mm.
Production facilities include:
  • a continuous mandrel mill for the production of seamless pipe from 32 - 114,3 mm;
  • general finishing floors, including testing equipment;
  • a quench and tempering heat treatment line for seamless OCTG and transport line pipe;
  • upsetting lines for seamless OCTG;
  • non-destructive testing (ultrasonic, electromagnetic, magnetic and vortex-current);
  • lines for pipe and coupling threading, hydrotesting, coating and bundling;
  • finishing line and annealing heat treatment line for boiler pipe.

Product range:
  • For oil and gas industry from 152 to 325 mm with wall thickness from 6 to 18 mm;
  • For machinery and power generation: special application pipe and boiler pipe from 146 to 325 mm with wall thickness from 6 to 56 mm;
  • For other industries: pipe for industrial application from 146 to 325 mm with wall thickness from 6 to 56 mm.
Production facilities include:
  • plug mill manufacturing pipe from 146 to 325 (339,7) mm;
  • general finishing, chamfering, pipe quenching and normalizing equipment, non-destructive testing.
 
Dnipro site, Ukraine

The mill produces seamless steel pipe for applications in oil and gas, power, machinery and industrial pipe. In 2022 site’s production totaled 160 kt.

Product range:
  • For the oil and gas industry: seamless casing from 140 to 340 mm with wall thickness from 6.4 to 15.4 mm, line pipe from 42 to 377 mm with wall thickness from 4.5 to 65 mm;
  • For machinery and power generation: seamless pipe from 33 to 377 mm with wall thickness from 4 to 65 mm, including pipe for submerged pumps and engines from 87 to 159 mm with wall thickness from 3 to 8 mm; ball bearing pipe from 36 to 183 mm with wall thickness from 3.6 to 38 mm; precision pipe from 35 to 108 mm with wall thickness from 3.5 to 18 mm, for other industries: seamless pipe from 33 to 377 mm with wall thickness from 4 to 65 mm.

  • Out-of-furnace steel treatment, including ladle and vacuum degassing unit.
Tube-rolling shop with plug mill (diameter from 73 to 168 mm):
  • General finishing and testing floor;
  • Non-destructive ultrasonic testing;
  • Pipe and coupling threading line, hydrotesting;
  • Chamfering, hydrotesting;
  • Coating and bundling.
Tube-rolling shop with pilger mill (diameter from 168 to 377 mm):
  • General finishing and testing floor;
  • Oil and gas pipe quenching and tempering line;
  • Non-destructive testing (ultrasonic and magnetic);
  • Pipe and coupling threading line, hydrotesting, coating and bundling floors.
Tube-rolling shop with Assel mill (diameter from 76 to 203 mm):
  • General finishing and testing floor;
  • Cold rolling line of special application pipe from 87 to 159 mm (pipe for submerged pumps and engines, fin-type tubes);
  • Hot rolled ball bearing pipe boring floor;
  • Cold rolling line of special application pipe from 34 to 170 м (ball bearing, precision and boiler pipe and tube);
  • Special pipe normalizing and seam annealing floor;
  • Non-destructive ultrasonic testing.
